What do all those Dynamic Controls dials in the Cloth Room do? Well, there's just one way to find out. "Controlled experiment," says the guy whose academic training includes a lot of Social Science courses. Just for fun, I added a quilt texture I made a couple of years ago and draped the cloth over the stairs, rather than a box, for more draping possibilities.
In the table, each variation takes three rows: the top row shows the value of the variable; the second row shows the render with the variable valued as shown; the third row shows Photoshop's idea of the difference between the control and the variable render.
To view any of the smaller graphics, right-click and select "View Image" (or whatever your browser of choice uses for that decision. I use Firefox 2.0.0.14; this procedure works with that program).
