Poser 4 Class
This class was yet another attempt to discover some success working with a 3-D package. With the help of Lyrra, the instructor, I was able to find that success.
This lesson had two purposes: to familiarize the students with the basic features of the main page and to acquaint them with the rather large Poser community on the Internet.
Lesson 2 delved more deeply into the mysteries of the Top Bar, and begins to work with poses and backgrounds.
Lesson 3 taught how to structure and use the library of resources that are either created by the student or are acquired from the Internet.
Lesson 4 dealt with adding and removing content, more on the organization of the Poser folder, and how to share files with the Internet community; it's not a one-way street.
Lesson 5 provided experience with putting together the various elements which had been studied in isolation: scene, character, etc. Additionally, it was suggested that stories accompany the graphics, to provide a bit more context for what is depicted.
The final lesson required students to integrate the knowledge gained in earlier sessions, in addition to basic posing with more than one character, lighting, and rendering.
