Lesson 4

So here we've got our basic crumpled ransom note. Click at left to see it in all it's glory.

This crumpled image was found in the wastebasket of the prime suspect in the parrot kidnap case.

Now some fool done gone and spilled the wine all over the ransom note. Click at left, there's more.

Here's Iggy the Iquana walking up a branch in the forest. Click at left to see the threat.

An over-active parrot fan distresses a suspect on his way to questioning.

Leaders of the Parrot Absconders' League electrify the followers.

The Parrot Liberation Front acquires a symbol.

Yet another threatening note arrives.

We take a short break from the Missing Parrot Caper to create some origami and shower tiles. If you want the tiles, click at left and then click on the graphic. Now that I've learned how to make ZIP files available, I'm getting some practice.

The break continues as we make tiles from the Baked Earth option of Xenoflex filter. Yeah, I know there were only supposed to be three, but 800x600 is a standard size and I couldn't be bothered figuring out how to divide 800 by 3, so there's four. Besides, by the time I'd done seven tiles that didn't work right, I finally got one right. Again, to get the tiles (in .psd format), click at left then click on the graphic. Hopefully, a ZIP file will download.

Returning to our story: Correspondence has now been exchanged between the parties. Note the difference in the stationary. It's done with the Stain filter.
