Spot Metering

Here are a couple attempts at learning spot metering. Obviously, this will take a little more work.

The idea was to have Amanda stand slightly in front of a bright light and use the spot metering to allow me to catch the details of her face.

On this one, I stood directly under the light as Amanda tried spot metering on different parts of me to see what differences it would make.

Since that obviously didn't work out too well, I moved slightly in front of the light. Some difference, but it's still not publishable work. Obviously.

I did like the way we got the little red-and-blue artifacts from the light in my beard.
